Newer Huawei mobile devices have power saving features that can sometimes interfere with the communication between your device and your LaCie Rugged BOSS SSD. If you are experiencing intermittent connection issues, or disconnects with your Huawei phone, try adjusting the battery settings below.
You can access the battery settings with the following path:
Settings > Battery > App launch > LaCie BOSS
Tap on the switch next to Lacie Boss to enable manual management. When the Manage Manually popup appears, disable Auto-launch by tapping on the switch next to it.
Disabling auto-launch should help to minimize the disconnection issues.
