USB printers can be difficult to set up when connected to a network drive. Apple has released the Bonjour Print Service that can make the process easier. First connect the printer to the computer directly via USB. Install the drivers for the printer from the installation CD that came with the printer. Test the printer to verify it works. Next connect the printer to NetworkSpace 2 or similar LaCie network drive via USB.
