Seagate Secure Missing for LaCie Rugged SSD

UPDATE: A firmware update has been released that addresses the issue below. Restart Toolkit to make sure it is running the latest version and connect your Rugged SSD. A prompt should appear to update the firmwareOnce the firmware has been updated, Seagate Secure should allow a password to be created.

We're investigating an issue with some models of the Rugged SSD and the Seagate Secure feature in Toolkit. During this time, the security option will be temporarily unavailable.

If your Rugged SSD is password protected, open the Secure Drive (Locked) volume and run the Unlock Drive program for your operating system. You will be prompted to unlock the drive with your password.

If you want to password-protect your LaCie Rugged SSD, please know that we hope to find a resolution soon. Once the issue has been resolved the Seagate Secure feature will be restored.
