USB-only optical drives do not include Macintosh software.
Our USB-only optical drives include premium burning software for Windows. They do not include any software for Macintosh. The drive is physically compatible with Mac, however, software will need to be obtained separately.
The drive is compatible with most data burning software, including the built-in burning capabilities of the operating system.
To download LightScribe software for Mac, go to http://www.lightscribe.com and download the latest System Software and Simple Labeler program.
NOTE: 3rd party burning programs are not covered under LaCie's technical support, and are referenced as a courtesy. Obtain a LaCie drive with Macintosh software for direct support.
