324 display has a large black border on Mac OS X
Summary:
324 display has a large black border on Mac OS X.
Some monitors support the "Overscan" function of Mac OS X. The 324 Monitor is included in this. Normally, this is enabled by default. If the picture appears to have a large black border around the entire outside of the display area, it is likely this feature has been disabled.
To enable Overscan, open System Preferences. To do this, click the Apple logo in the upper-left corner of the screen, then choose "System Preferences…"
Choose the Displays category.
There should be a tab near the top of the window labeled "Options". Click that tab.
Click the check-box for Overscan. The entire display should be available, now.
