My larger capacity d2 drive has a fan. The fan stops or slows down. Is this normal?


Some models of the d2 Hard Drive have a thermo-regulated “smart fan”, which activates when the heat inside the casing reaches a certain temperature. The smart fan adjusts automatically to changes in temperature.
