LaCie DVD Drive Firmware Update Tools are for Windows 2000 or XP. They do update firmware for LaCie d2 and Porsche 16x DVD±RW DL (Double Layer) drives with following mechanisms: - TSSTcorpCD/DVDW SH-S162L: DVD drive firmware LC02 improves LightScribe printing quality and fixes minor bugs - TSSTcorpCD/DVDW SH-W162L: DVD drive firmware LC03 improves LightScribe printing quality and fixes minor bugs- NEC DVD_RW ND-3550A: DVD drive firmware 1.06 adds more media support IMPORTANT!: these flash update tools are for the LaCie specific DVD±RW DL drives only. They are not intended for other OEM or retail DVD±RW or DVD±RW DL drives.
