Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the “Master Password”?A Master Password can be used to override the individual password. This is helpful for System Administrators or supervisors if the user has forgotten his or her password. A single Master Password set on a volume will access all volumes on that drive. It will not interfere with the user accessing the volume or setting up their individual passwords. If others will be using your drive, setting up a Master Password can keep them from setting a password and inadvertently locking you out of the drive. If a user password has been set up for any volume before a Master Password is set up, the individual password is required before the Master Password can be set. 10093 |
