How to upgrade your 2big Network or 5big Network:

Network recommendations and LNA procedure

1. Connect your PC or Mac to the network using an Ethernet cable (turn off any wireless connection on your PC or Mac).
2. Make sure users on your network have stopped any current data transfers to the NAS.
3. Turn off all the NAS devices except the one you want to upgrade.
4. Disconnect all shares on the NAS you want to upgrade from any machine connected to it.
5. Uninstall all previous versions of LNA on your computer.
6. You will need two files for the upgrade:
1. LNA v1.3 installer(PC) / dmg(Mac)
2. 2big 2.2.3 capsule or 5big 2.2.3 capsule (depending on which product you have)
7. Install LNA v1.3.
8. Run LNA application.
9. Go to Preferences and make sure IPConf Support is deactivated.
10. Select 2big or 5big from the list on the left and click on the "Upgrade your NAS" button.
    
11. Go to “Volumes” tab, click the "Authentication" button and log in as “admin”.
12. You will be asked to browse and load the Upgrade file (Capsule) provided.
    
13. Click on “OK” to begin the upgrade. Upgrade may take up to 30 minutes to complete in some cases.
14. Once the upgrade is complete, check the system version: it should be 2.2.3
15.
