Philippe created the company with Pierre Fournier in 1989.
PIERRE VAN DER ELST - Deputy General Manager
Shortly after graduating from HEC, a renowned French business school, Pierre started his own business in graphic arts. He had been managing his own business for six years when he became the Managing Director of LaCie France in 2001. Pierre took charge of the European direction of LaCie in November 2002 before being appointed as LaCie’s Deputy General Manager in December 2005.
ERIC VERMELLE - Marketing Director
A graduate of ENSSAT in 1991, Eric began his career at Alcatel. He has played different roles in the mobile phones industry from the market emergence to market maturity. His last position at “Alcatel Mobile phones” was board member in charge of the product marketing. LaCie recruited him for his expertise in “consumer electronic product marketing”. Eric will be in charge of the LaCie worldwide portfolio and the related marketing activities.
GERALDINE HOTTIER - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
A graduate of EDHEC in Lille (1996), Geraldine began her career with Ernst & Young. LaCie recruited her in 2000 for her expertise, knowledge and understanding of American companies - she had been involved in reorganizing internal control systems, expenditure controls and reinforcing communication and co-ordination with the lead office. In 2002, Geraldine relocated to France to become LaCie's CFO.
PHILIPPE PARDONNET – Chief Technical Officer
Philippe graduated from SUPELEC, and worked for 13 years with ALCATEL where he ended up as the DECT Residential Phones R&D Manager. He then joined Atlinks, Digigram and more recently SAGEM Mobile Phone, first in their headquarters and later in the JV SAGEM-BIRD located in China. Philippe has strong skills in project management.
DOMINIQUE BATTELIER - Technical Director
As a Computer Science and Electronics Engineer, Dominique used his double expertise to specialize in creating loaded software for large French computer manufacturers. He joined LaCie in 1998 to take on the responsibility of managing the Software Department, before being appointed as LaCie's Technical Director in 2000.
BÉRANGÈRE YVORRA - Purchasing Director
After studying Economics at the Faculty of Pantheon Assas in Paris, Bérangère began her career at LaCie in 1992. She grew along with the company, where she took on different positions in various departments (Sales, Logistics) before creating the European Purchasing department. Bérangère's particular focus on optimizing our products' cost structure is a major asset to LaCie. Over the years, she has built close and strong business partnerships with our strategic components suppliers in the US, Europe and Asia. She is currently responsible for worldwide Purchases and Procurement at LaCie.
DENIS LUGAGNE-DELPON – IS Director
Denis is graduated from ECE, an engineering school specialized in information systems. He started his career with Sodexo. After 4 years, he decided to join Altran, a consulting firm, where his main mission was to be part of the Reckitt&Colman team to implement a new ERP. He then took the opportunity of participating to the Paris Dauphine MBA programme. In January 2002 he joined ETRALI, a France Telecom company, where he was in charge of implementing a new ERP in more than 10 countries. Denis’s international experience in developing efficient information systems is a strong asset for LaCie.
EMMANUEL ARTUS – Chief Operations Officer
Emmanuel benefits from a double training from Ecole Centrale Paris and HEC. Before joining LaCie, Emmanuel was an Associate Partner at IBM Business Consulting Services. He was in charge of the Industrial and Logistics Optimization services. Emmanuel benefits from a 10 year experience in transforming the supply chains and after-sales services of manufacturing companies. Emmanuel is now fully committed to deliver best-in-class Operations at LaCie.
NATHALIE CROUZET - Human Resources Director
Before joining LaCie, Nathalie worked as a sales engineer and then as Market Manager in the Data Storage Department of 3M (before it became Imation). She then joined the Carrefour group in a managerial position, heading up a team of 80 people. In 1999, she returned to her primary area of interest - data storage - and became the Head of Media Products at LaCie. Since then, Nathalie has occupied a variety of positions within the company, thanks to her exceptional adaptability and versatility. She is currently responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Services, and General Secretariat at LaCie. Nathalie holds two European MBA degrees (CESMA/EM Lyon and Cranfield School of Management).
