Distorted sound is coming from the LaCie FireWire speakers.


On PowerPC Macs the audio will sound distorted (really fast and stutters a lot). This is due to the audio frequency being set to 32KHZ. Open the midi setup (located in the Utilities folder) and change the audio format to 44KHZ for the LaCie Firewire speakers.
